Learn the fascinating history of the Historic Square in Nelsonville on a self-guided walking tour. Photographic clues will be given in a flyer-how many can you find?
Learn about the significant buildings& their original purpose in this thriving, progressive coal-boom town.
This Scavenger Hunt will be available all summer at the many shops in the Historic Square arts district.

Stuart's Gallery 1879: Circle ‘Round the Square Annual Summer Art Show. For most of these 70 Nelsonville youth, the Summer Art program is there once-a-year art experience! They are an excited, enthusiastic and fearless group whose artwork is shining examples of honesty, innovation and true talent! Please celebrate their accomplishments by attending their music videos & choir performance from 6-7pm upstairs at Stuarts, and the Visual Art Opening at 7pm in the Lobby. A MUST SEE!!!

Majestic Galleries: Opening Night: Peter Heidtmann and Ron Luce. Peter Heidtmann's work, Image/Text , is an exhibition of works in various media, all of which combine pictures and words. Ron Luce's Color of Sound II is an exhibition of new works, including a "Painture," a three-dimensional painting in spectacular color.

Hocking College Gallery Windows: The Firecracker Show, an evolving collaborative installation utilizing just about everything but the kitchen sink: by five-year-olds Stanley Viny, Amelia Walker-Reid and pals.
The Athens County Women's Art Guild has been active for 2 years now. A few women artists have been talking and decided that we needed a group in the community to support women in the arts. This will be a group for creativity, socialization and support.
