Plans for the future.....

Out last meeting of the year is coming up soon so I need some help planning for next year. The last meeting will be December 20Th at 6pm at ARTS West. It is a potluck so please bring a dish to share with other and your own plastic ware. We will also be having a gift exchange. Please wrap up something from your art collection that you have made but it just wasn't up to your standards or you just don't like it but think someone else will. We will place these gifts in the middle of a circle and do a White Elephant game with them. You can always bring more than one item especially if they are small gifts.

Please help me by thinking about these questions and respond with answers if you have any. Here are some questions that we have:

Is the 3rd Monday on the month still the best?

What other programs should we have?

What did we do well?

What can we do better?

What do we do about the money/how should we use it?

Thanks for being such a great group and I hope we can do more next year!

Happy snow days,
Nancy

Thank you....

Every great idea comes from the desire for something.......

The ATHCO Women's Art Guild was formed because Kelly, Nancy and Megan all wanted women artists to have a connection for women in our community. We got together for coffee and the next thing we knew we had formed our new group. We all wanted fun, creativity, communication, a place to escape, support for women and a group to call our own. We decided that officers were necessary so I (Nancy Baur) volunteered to be President, Kelly Lawrence is Secretary and Megan Fetheringham is the Treasurer. We are going to meet at ARTS/West every 3rd Monday of the month.
We have scheduled all of the meetings for the year so that we can have speakers and demonstrations planned in advance. Every meeting we will meet for 2 hours and include business, snacks, show and tell and an informational session with demonstrations and projects by members of the group. Please think about signing up for one of these sessions to share your art with the group. We will send out email messages to let members know what they need to bring to each meeting. The first meeting will be March 15th at 6pm.
You can contact Nancy at musictoo@hotmail.com with questions!
Hope to see you soon!
